Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data the Evet/Hayır iOS app (including Today's Fortune), developed by Çağın Böğürcü, processes and how. The app does not ask you to create an account and does not collect your name, email address, phone number or location. Last updated: November 3, 2026.
1. Information stored only on your device
The following stays on your phone and is never sent to us or to any other server:
- The zodiac sign you choose (to show your daily fortune)
- Whether you have opened today's cookie
- Your ad consent choices (stored by Google's consent tool)
Deleting the app deletes this information. Your questions and the app's answers are never recorded anywhere.
2. Third-party services

These services are provided by Google LLC and Google Ireland Ltd. How Google uses data: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
3. Permissions
- Notifications: Requested for news and reminders (for example “Your cookie is ready”). The daily reminder is created on your device. You can turn it off at any time in Settings → Notifications → Evet/Hayır.
- App Tracking Transparency: Requested to access your advertising identifier for personalized ads. If you decline, ads are not personalized and the app works the same. You can change this in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
4. Legal basis
For users in the European Union, personalized advertising and tracking rely on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)). Sending notifications and the technical processing needed to run the app rely on legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). For users in Türkiye, the same processing relies on explicit consent and legitimate interest under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK).
5. Changing your choices
- Ad consent: Change or withdraw it at any time with the “Privacy Settings” link at the bottom of the Today's Fortune tab (shown in regions where consent is required).
- Tracking and notifications: In the iOS Settings app.
- All local data: Delete the app.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and KVKK you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, to data portability and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold data that identifies you, requests about data processed by Google services can also be made through Google's tools. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Retention and international transfers
On-device information remains until you delete the app. Data in Google services is kept under Google's retention policies (2 months by default for Analytics). It may be processed on Google servers in the EU and the US; transfers are protected by Google's Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. Fortunes and answers are for entertainment only.
9. Changes to this policy
When we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date.
